ALIM Web can be configured so that the display of Event objects that are subjects of workflows is controlled by the currently active task. In this mode, the display and edit actions of the object automatically select a defined Layout section when they are triggered. The intent is that when you accept a step in the workflow, you are presented with the display and edit screen that you need to complete during that step.

Data driven processes require that the layout and the workflow of the process are configured in conjunction with each other. A layout section can be configured for each workflow task by defining corresponding attributes on the task.

Both Work Order and Task style work flows are supported by the data driven process.

Note that in this document, the word "step" refers to a sub-stage in the workflow.
